Subject: it's the claw! nothing can stop the claw!

Hello family. How are you all? I’m doing well. We had a good week. Things are still a little slow but we are working hard to find some new people to teach. We tried to see some people that said to come back yesterday but they weren’t home. I think people take the time to think of a time that they won’t be home and say that’s a good time to come and see me. That bugs me a lot. But we will keep trying to work with people. I wish the ward would do more missionary work. That would make things a lot easier. Well we did zoo service this week and I all most let a bird out. That would have suck so bad. I was spraying the floor down with water and I went into one of the cages so I could spray it better. I thought I had my hand on the door to keep it closed but I didn’t. When I finished I looked back and saw one of the birds opening the door. It was kind of funny. But I stopped the bird from getting out. The zookeepers weren’t there too. So I would have been in big trouble. One thing that they said before they left was “just don’t let anything out.” Well we had stake conference yesterday it was really good. We had one of the presiding bishopric members there. He gave a great talk. All the talks were good. But it was weird that we got out of church so early. We had a lot of time to do some things we didn’t get to do all the time. We got to church at 8 and don’t get home until 5. That’s a long day of church. Elder Woodward is doing ok. He is starting to bug me a little bit. He says things just to bug me some times and it works. Well I can’t think of anything else to write about so I will talk to you all later. I love you all and miss you all.

Subject: like a glove!

Hello. How are you all? I’m doing good. I’m still here with elder Woodward. I think it will be a good thing. I hope that I can keep him talking to people. He’s doing a little better. So there wasn’t that much that happened this week. The biggest thing that happened is the all mission conference with Elder Bednar. It was SWEET! He made the whole thing fun. He didn’t just talk to us he asked questions and let us ask him questions. It was sweet. He didn’t call on me when I raised my hand. But he did call on the Elder sitting next to me. That’s all most like getting called on right? J/k but he told us not to try and tell every body about the things we talked about because he didn’t want people try to retell what he said. It like when you play the game telephone. By the end it’s not the same thing he said. But he did talk about how members are full time finder and missionaries are full time teachers. And how us as missionaries need to get out of the way. We need to stop trying to get people baptized for us. We need to do it for them. That’s some of the things we talked about. It was really good. We got a new bishop this week in the Auburn Hills ward. He should be a good bishop. I’m going to miss the last bishop. But we just need to keep moving forward. I did get the package you sent me and thank you for all the stuff. I do like the shirt and the toothbrush. They are sweet. The reason I sent the hard drive home was I didn’t want to keep it with me. It has a lot of music and some movies on it. I told you on Christmas that I was going to send it. Sorry I didn’t take as many pictures as Thomas. But you wanted me to send you my card so I did. Well we still don’t have any new investigators. We are still working on that. We need the ward to start getting us some people to teach. But I can’t think of anything else to write so I will talk to you later. I love you and miss you all.

Subject: nice hooter. the owls there are nice.

Hello family. How are you? I’m good for now. This week was an ok week. It started slow. On Monday I had a family home evening. It was with the bishop’s son and his family. It was a lot of fun. They like to tell stories like our family. They are a sweet family. Tuesday we had interviews with the prez. I liked it a lot sister Van Komen said I could be her secretary. She is j/k. but it’s funny. Then later that night we saw sister John. We see her every Tuesday. She is working on her rebaptism. She left the church because her husband didn’t like it. She didn’t know how bad of a thing she was doing. So now she is coming back. It’s a good thing. On Wednesday we biked out to the other side of the area. It sucks to bike that far. And when the wind is blowing that sucks just that much more. But than later that night we went to teach a LA in the singles ward. Her name is Krista Greenlee. She is nice but she just doesn’t come to church. So we are teaching the lessons to her. She said that it would be a good thing for her. So we are going to keep teaching her. Thursday we biked out to the other side again. It sucks 2 days in a row. My butt was feeling it. But we saw a lot of people out there that day so it was a good thing. Than we had to get home to try and see this lady who said we could come back. So we go up to her door and ring the doorbell and I ask Elder Woodward what her name was and he didn’t remember. And the husband came to the door and I said the first name that came to my mind. It was the wrong name. So now we have to go back and see if we can talk to her again. On Friday we had Zoo service and there was this bird that keep saying Hello to me. It was funny. Than we went to the Farrows for dinner. They are nice. One of their girls thinks I’m cute. See I can’t keep them off me. J/k then on Saturday we worked all day and it was a long day. We saw Craig our new investigator. It was a hard lesson. He had some of the hardest Q’s. at the end of the lehe said he would pray if he wanted us to come back an keep teaching him. So we will see how it goes. We I don’t have a lot of time. I will write a letter this week to you all. I don’t know what’s going to happen for transfers but I will let you know next week. I love you and miss you love tyler
