Subject: 56,57,58, BANG! That still only counts as one!

Hello family!!!! How are you homies? I’m doing soooo good. Elder Call and I are working hard a getting a lot done. Things are starting to pick up. We got 2 new investigators and they are going to be sweet to work with. The first is Kayla. She lives with her aunt and uncle because her mom passed away like 4 months ago. She also never knew her dad. But she is 15. She we went over to teach her the 1stlesson and we asked her at the end of the lesson if she would read the Book of Mormon. Than she told us that she had read it 2 times already. Than elder Call asked if she thought the church was true and she said yes. So we wanted to ask her to be baptized but her uncle said to take it slow until we see if she is doing it for her self. So we are going to see her tomorrow. Than our 2nd new investigator we got last night. We did even know we were going to teach him. We thought we were just going to dinner. But when we got there the dad of the house we were going to eat at came and told us he was going to ask his daughter’s friend if he would take the lessons. So we had dinner and had a quick message. Than the dad asked him if he would take the lessons, he said yes. His name is Sean. He is a very big guy. He has to be 450lbs. but he has cancer. So we hope that we can help him. It should be good. Elder Call and I were going around the other day trying to contact some people and we ran into this crazy lady. We thought it was going to be good at 1st but we were wrong. I would tell you some of the things she said but it wouldn’t come out right in the email. So when I call for mothers day ask me than to tell you because it is funny. So Elder Call hasn’t been sleeping for the pass 2 weeks and we don’t know why. So I gave him a blessing last night to see if that would help. I don’t know if it helped or not. Oh I almost forgot we are going to baptize Mikey on the 2nd and confirm him that same day. Than the next day he is getting married in between conference sessions. That he’s going back to Louisiana. So this will be a good week for us. I think that the members have been holding on to there friends and family members waiting for the right missionaries to come and teach them. I think that’s why this area hasn’t gotten any referrals in the last 8 months. Well I can’t think of any thing else to write so I will talk to you all later. I love you all and miss you all!

Subject: do farts have lumps in them?

Hello family. How are you all? I’m good. I did get transferred. I’m now in Leavenworth with Elder Call. He is going to be a sweet comp. he has been in the mission for 3 transfers. But I’m training him because his real trainer didn’t teach him anything. I’m training him. He says I’m he’s step father. But the work here in this area is going to be good. We all ready have some sweet things happening. So we are over 2 wards and I can tell one of the wards is going to be more fun than the other. One of the wards has an army base in the boundaries. It’sFort Leavenworth and we go on base a few times a week to see members and to teach some people. But the members that live on base can’t do missionary work because it’s a rule or a law. If they do they can get kicked out of the army and go to jail. That wouldn’t be cool. But they help as much as they can. Also Leavenworth is the prison capital of the U.S. there are like 7 or more prisons here. So that is crazy. So the members that we live with have 2 dogs and one cat. AND THE STUPID CAT LIKES TO SLEEP ON MY BED. I could kill that cat. That and the dogs smell so bad. They don’t give them baths very often. So that sucks. Their address is 734 Deerfield St. Leavenworth, KS 66048. So there you go you can send me stuff now. Sorry I didn’t email yesterday we had zone conference. We had Elder Snow come and talk to us. It was a good zone conference. But for the work we are working hard and we have some people we are working with right now. I just can’t remember their names right now. But last night we taught this guy from Louisiana. He here to get married to this girl that is LA and he’s getting her to come back to the church. And we are going to be baptizing him April the 2nd. It’s going to be sweet. Than we also have some other people that are close to being baptized. So it’s going to be good. Now for mom’s Q’s yes I did get Britney’s email. Thank you for getting me a new watch. That will be nice. My watch is being stupid. Something’s I thought of for you to get me is pictures and more music. That’s about it for now. Well I can’t think of anything else to write about so I will talk to you all later. I love you all and miss you all.

Facebook message!

Subject: Elder Scoble in Wichita

Sister Scoble,

I am sitting here with Tyler and he asked if I would relay a message to you.
He forgot to let you know that he would like a new watch for his year
"anniversary", since his isn't really working well. My husband is the Ward
Mission Leader, so we are lucky enough to have your son and Elder Woodward
in our home often. They are both outstanding young men and you and your
husband should be very proud of him. Although my oldest son is only 5, I
always try to think of the Elders as if they were my own son. (Hopefully
members will treat him that way when he serves his mission.) I am still
working on making Tyler Chicken Cordon Blue, but feel a little intimidated
by his rave review of yours. :) Anyway, I won't take any more of your
time. Just know that all is well here in Wichita.

Subject: we're going to stay up late swapping manly
stories. and in the morning I'm makin waffles.

Hello family. How are you all? I’m good. We had a good week. On Tuesday we went to try and see some people but every person we tried to see wasn’t home. Than we call this guy in our ward that is moving and he didn’t answer his phone. So we just stopped by to see if he was home. He was and come to find out his phone had just stopped working. So we helped him pack a lot of his stuff. He has soooooo much glass. We filled at least 20 boxes or more of nothing but glass stuff. It’s a little crazy how much glass he has. So we helped him out with that. Than on Wednesday we had our districted meeting. It was hard not to kill my zone leader. But I didn’t kill him. I had to give a training on patience. I was not the best person to give that training. That and we were low on time so I gave my 5 min training in 2 min. but later that day we went tracting in the rain. It’s not the most fun traiting in the rain. I like the rain just not when I have to work in it. But we did find a good potential investigator. His name is Kirt and he was a nice guy. He came to the door with an Xbox controller. So I was able to talk about that with him. He said that his grandma is a member. We tried to see him on the weekend but no luck. We didn’t get to see our new investigators because of family stuff but we hopefully get to see them this week. But yesterday we had this guy show up to church in the singles ward that isn’t a member. He was from Australia. But he came here because of one of the girls in the ward was talking to him on the Internet. So he just showed up to see her. But she hasn’t talked to him in like a year. So we are still going to teach him but we just need to see if he is doing this for the right reasons. So we will see. Well I can’t think of any thing else to talk about so I will talk to you all later. I love you all and miss you all.

Subject: Why don't you give me a nice paper cut
and put some lemon juice on it we’re closed!

Hello family! How are you all? This was a good week. We had some sweet things happen. So Thursday was our best day this week. We called this guy in our ward to give us a ride out to the other side of our area the night before. He was going to pick us up at 9 and didn’t get there until 10 or so. But he still took us out to where we wanted to go. We wanted to contact a referral we got like a week a go. So we knocked on his door and he came out and was like “My brother said you would be coming. So how does this work?” than I asked, “Well do you know what we teach?” He said no so we taught him the first lesson. It was a good lesson. He said we could come back and teach him more but until we get a return app he isn’t a new investigator. So we are going to get an app with him. But later that day we had anther referral that we had seen yet. So we went over to see them. We biked past their place at first than we went back. Than the lady came to the door before we even knocked and said, “Did Justin send you?” than we said, yes. So we went into there back yard and talked to them for 2 hours. She said when we biked past their house she asked her boyfriend “there goes the missionaries, did you ask them to come by?” than he said no. Than she said they are coming back, they are stopping. It was kind of funny. But they are our new investigators. How sweet is that. We taught them the 2nd lesson because they had lost a lot of family. They went to church yesterday with there family that referred them. We just have to get him to stop smoking and drinking. That’s not going to be easy but we can do it. So that was the best part of the week. Than we went to the zoo again and did a lot of hard work. We had to clean the same pond that we cleaned last time. It wasn’t as bad as the 1st time but it still was pretty crapy. But that’s what happened this week. Mom I don’t know what I want for my year mark so I don’t know. My comp is good. The work is picking up so it’s all good. The weather is getting better. Well I can’t think of any thing else to write about so I will talk to you all later. I love you all and miss you all.

Subject: I think we have established that caca
caca and tooky tooky don't work.

Hello family. How are you all? I’m doing better. It was an ok week. We have been working hard this week to find some new people to teach. On Tuesday we had interviews with the president. I don’t know if president likes me. When we have interviews they aren’t long and they are some times awkward. So I don’t know. I love talking to sister Van Komen. She is super nice. She likes me lot too. But at the end of that day we went to Brother Ang. He is a former investigator. So we taught him the first lesson again. It was a good thing we taught him the 1st lesson again because he asked some Q’s that should have been answered the first time he was taught. But now he is our new investigator. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa! We have one!!! Can I tell you how much that means to me? So we have anther app tomorrow with them. So we will see how it goes. The next day we went to the Ramages (they were the family that let us live in there home while they were out of town) to talk about some of the people they lived next to. They gave us 4 referrals. That was sweet. We contacted 3 of them and they weren’t interested. But that was still good. Than we had to go to Janet Erwin’s house to give her a blessing because she had had a stroke and didn’t know it. It was a small one. They said it was a sign that she could have a big one. But she is ok for now. Oh she also broke 3 ribs the other day. And she just got over cancer. She has had it hard the last year. Than on Thursday I got a bad cold. I felt like crap. A big pile of it. But we still went out. We saw a lot of people for me being sick. We saw sister Henderson. She is a nice lady that doesn’t come to church. So we were talking to her and she told us that she wasn’t coming back to church. Her reason was that the ward wasn’t friendly enough for her. This is a grate ward so I don’t know what her problem is. On Friday we went to the zoo again. We got to clean a big pond again. it wasn’t as bad as the last one we had to clean. This time I got to use a big fire hose. That was fun. I got to blast all the crap away. Than on Saturday we went to this LA lady’s house and helped her take down old wallpaper. It wasn’t that bad. I like doing things like that. Than on Sunday we had a good day at church. We were all most late for dinner. But we got there just in time. Than we went from dinner to the Farrow’s house because he told us at church that they were going to have friends over. He said they had said they wanted to know why they were different. So he told us to come over and see if we could talk to them. As soon as we got there they left. They had a lot of kids to get ready for bed so that’s why they left. But the Farrow’s daughter has this friend that has come to church 2 times now. She told them that she likes our church better. Than the Farrow girl said you want to go to girls camp right? Than she said yes. Then the Farrow girl said than we are going to have to convert. Than the girl said ok I’ll just tell my parent that I going to be a Mormon. So we are going to see if we can teach her soon. So that was our sweet week.

Well I can’t think of any thing else to write about so I will talk to you all later. Oh and mom is this a long enough Email for you? I love you and miss you all.
