MON 11/2/09

Subject: Stop riming! I mean it! Anybody want a peanut?

Hello family! This week was sweet. We have had so much good stuff happen its crazy. We taught the McCarter’s again. We were teaching the 3rd lesson and when we got to baptism we asked if Mac and Jenna and John-Michel if they would pray for a day to get baptized. They all said they would. Also Mac came to church again this week. It was a good week for him to come to church. A lot of people boar there testimonies on the Book of Mormon. He needs a good testimony on the BoM. On Friday Brother Laudie (our ward mission leader) asked us if we could help him with his Halloween party he was holding at his GYM. So he has this pulley system to help kids do flips. So what we were doing was having the kids go as far back as they could and they would run. Then we would pull the rope as fast as we could to get the kids in the air to make it like they were flying. We had to do this for 2 ½ hours. My hands still hurt from it. We didn’t get gloves until have way through the night. One of the kids was so big we almost didn’t get the belt on her. Than when Elder Watson try to pull her up she stopped running and instead of the girl going up E. Watson went up. I had to get the rope before E. Watson died. It was petty funny. We also had to baptisms on Saturday. They weren’t our invest. They were kids that were 8. But they still wanted us to come. One of the kids was from one of the RC family that we have been working with. We helped them get him baptized. Than we went to the Horrocks for Halloween. We just helped past out candy and played some games. That’s about it. Yesterday had a bonfire at the Koffles house. We had like a 13ft flame coming from that thing it was sweet. Than we just sat around the fire and talked for a little bit. It made me want to go camping really bad. We E. Watson is going home next week. He doesn’t even know what to do with him self. Well I don’t know what else to write about so I will talk to you later. I love you and miss you.

Love Elder Tyler Scoble
